GCH Top Hat Royal Troon "Russell" MHA MH12 CGC

Russell is a machine when entering the bird field, but a family dog in the house. He has a calm disposition and goes along with almost anything we are doing. He comes from an old proven line of Herrenhausen dogs since the 1980's. He has sired numerous litters across the country and has passed along his trainability and drive. Russell is available for stud to approved bitches (click here for our Stud Contract) and we offer live tie, fresh chilled, and frozen. Grungydog's Princess of Winterfell "Arya" SH MH NA112

Arya is miss independent and still hunts for you. There usually isn't a bird left in the field when working with Arya. She is a very confident bird dog and has beautiful style on point. She is the Black Watch foundation bitch. Arya has produced 4 healthy litters, passing on her amazing traits in the field. Now she's enjoying her breeding retirement, on the couch and in the field as Dad's hunting partner. 

Black Watch Queen of the Hebrides "Islay" SH MH

Islay was our first puppy born at Black Watch and who also became our keeper pup from Arya's first litter. She has that same style in the field like her mother and trainability from her dad, Flatbrook's Walker. Islay has an incredible nose, hunts big, and aims to please. There is a reason we call her Quail Queen. She is a big sweetheart in the house and does not know a stranger. She has produced two litters who have proven her to be very biddable. 

Statesman Norma 'Night Rider' Downs @ Black Watch "Fallon" SH MH

Fallon is our "keeper" pup  from a litter our boy Russell sired, and she reminds us of Russell in personality. She earned her AKC Senior Hunter title just under 10 months old and AKC Master Hunter at 2 years old. We continue to work with her in the field and the ring, but most of all have allowed her to be a fun loving girl who gets along with the rest of the Black Watch pack. 

Black Watch Dram Fit For a Queen "Whisky" SH MH

Whisky is from our Viking Litter, designed by Narvik De La Plume D'Argent and Black Watch Queen of the Hebrides. She is a beautiful griffon with a ton of hunting desire. She stands just under 21 inches at the withers, but still a beast in the field. Whisky earned an AKC Master Hunter title under the age of two and is currently working on earning her AKC MHA. Whisky will be the third generation of Black Watch who earns an AKC Master Hunter title. She is a very confident girl with a ton of Griff personality. She also enjoys being a guide dog during the season. 

Black Watch Go Ahead Make My Day "Wesson" SH CGC

Wesson comes out of our Viking Litter (Narvik x Islay) and is the true definition of a Griffon that can do it all. He moves gracefully in a field with an incredible amount of drive and athleticism. He has a desire to work and loves to retrieve. Wesson has the perfect loving, confident personality both in the field and in the house. He loves to swim and go on his daily run alongside the bike. He can range out or stay close, depending on the terrain. He is the only Griffon to have earned multiple placements in AKC All Breed Field Trial Stakes as a puppy and in Derby. He continues to test in AKC and NAVHDA and loves to hunt with Tom on Illinois wild pheasant. 

Black Watch Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes "Weller" SH FTI NA112

Weller is 3rd generation to our boy Russell. He is from the Legacy Litter (VC GCHB Aux Lake Rum Tum Rudy MH x Statesman Norma "Night Rider" Downs @Black Watch MH). Owned by Luke Bawel and Co-owned by Black Watch. Weller is quick to learn and easy to train. This is a natural retriever who loves to work. Dispite the level of work ethic, he still has that goofy griff personality. The level of trainability is strong. Weller will continue to work in AKC (Hunt, Retriever, Conformation, and Obedience Testing) and NAVHDA, but will enjoy hunting quail and pheasant along side his dad in Southern Indiana during hunt seasons.
